Citizens Advisory Committee(CAC) Wastewater Subcommittee Continues to Meet Monthly   

The CAC’s Wastewater Subcommittee was organized to provide input into the master planning process and review and comment on wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal activities and operations. The subcommittee meets the 3rd Thursday of every month, 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at 1155 Market Street, 4th Floor Conference Room. Members of the public are welcome to attend.  For details, please click here for agendas and minutes. For more information on the Wastewater Subcommittee, please contact Idil Bereket at ibereket@sfwater.org.

 

Presentations with Community Groups

Since January 2006, we have met with more than 60 community groups and have done informational presentations on the city's sewer system with all interested organizations. We are continuing to hold presentations to provide information on the Master Plan as we move along in the process. Commission Updates and Public Workshops                                                                                     

SFPUC staff have held a number of workshops and updates for the SFPUC Commission throughout master plan development, the latest in May 2008, to seek input on policy-level direction. We have conducted three rounds of public workshops to date to present and solicit input on the scope and cost of proposed improvements to the wastewater system.
